Overview
The FRMSC is
a strength-based, trauma-informed, and family-focused program. It is designed
to provide comprehensive programming that addresses each individual’s pathway
into the criminal system. We provide continuum of care services and referral to
community resources to help with recovery and successful reintegration. The
purpose of this program is to help women heal, gain trust, and learn coping
skills. Women will recognize learning opportunities, address criminal behavior
paths, and begin connecting with children, family, and significant others where
appropriate. |
We are a
professional treatment services program designed specifically to meet the needs
of female adult offenders. We offer a full continuum of gender-responsive
services to help women reintegrate into their communities, and develop and
maintain highly productive lifestyles. In particular, Bridges has a long
history of guiding female offenders with substance abuse disorders toward
recovery, reunification with their children and families, and their communities.
It is our
vision to provide a safe environment where female offenders are treated with
dignity and respect while receiving effective gender-responsive services.
We provide female offenders with gender-responsive supervision, treatment,
and services that increase opportunities for successful reintegration into their
communities while reducing the number of females incarcerated in California.
